Find Your Voice
To celebrate Women’s History Month, on March 8, 2009, The Arts Effect produced Find Your Voice!, a VDay benefit that inspired girls ages 9-14 years-old to discover their voices, celebrate the superwomen of history, and start their tomorrow with a greater awareness of and compassion for the challenges facing girls and women worldwide.
The Girl Power Party event featured:
- A VIP MC
- Performances by the award-winning and critically acclaimed cast of KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
- Original music, poetry, and short stories created especially for FIND YOUR VOICE! by girls throughout NYC.
- Keynote Speakers addressing the status of girls around the world.
- A closing dance party sponsored by Little MissMatched
